How to Make Custom Invitations 

 Step 1: Login or Register 

Open the JahWow app on your Android or iOS device and create an account if you have not done so before, don’t forget to add your children’s names and birthdates to your profile. If you already have an account with us, enter your account information. 

 Step 2: Select a template

After successfully logging in, go to the menu bar and select ‘CREATE’, this is where you can navigate through the invitation templates. There are multiple themes which are offered by JahWow. Select the template that works best with your party theme. There’s even a blank template for you to create your own invite external to JahWow and upload it to app.

Step 3: JahWow editing and customisation options for personalised children’s party invitations

• Background colours: Start editing template by clicking on edit button and select from a vast selection of background colours to match your taste and theme.

• Add Text: Select from various fonts and colours to write on your template. You are then able to enlarge or reduce your text and move it around where you want to place it by dragging text on screen. You can even use other languages, special characters and emojis available on your phone.

• Add Image or video: You can upload a photo, graphic or video from your phone to add to the template. Similar to text you are able to move, enlarge or reduce the size of the image on screen. 

 Step 4: Review your design and add your event details

Review your invite and add event detail; event title, Child’s name, occasion and click continue to add event date, start and end time, address and venue name  where your invitees can use google maps for directions. Press continue to add your party theme, gift ideas and RSVP by date.

Step 5: Inviting guests attending your event

After you have entered the RSVP date, you can then choose whom you want to attend your event by firstly selecting ‘YES’ to select all children of parents of current JahWow users you are inviting or ‘NO’ to choose individually which children of those parents you want to invite if applicable. Click on ‘CREATE EVENT’ to select your invitees from your phone contact list. You can also add invitees manually if they are not on your contact list. Click ‘Send’  and your JahWow invitation will be sent to the guests selected. At any time before the event date you have the ability to edit invite details, add or remove guests and resend it.

Step 6: RSVP Feature 

Upon sending the invitation, your guests will receive a notification through the JahWow app. If they don’t have JahWow installed, they will receive a SMS advising them of the invite and a link to download JahWow to view their invite and reply with their RSVP status including who is attending and of any dietary requirements.
